The journey from the Farnborough area is approximately 3 hours if the traffic is good. Consider booking accommodation in the local area on both Friday and Saturday nights.

From the South: At exit 2 of the M3 take the slip lane for the M25 and join the left hand lane following the motorway clockwise towards Staines/Heathrow Airport and The North. Follow the M25 to Junction 21 and join the M1 signposted The North/Luton Airport.

All Travellers: Leave the M1 at junction 31. Follow the A57 towards Worksop, through the village of Anston. Continue past a Shell Garage on the left and through a set of traffic lights. There is then another petrol station on the left. Continue straight ahead. The road will then become more rural.Eventually you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit left onto Woodsetts Lane and then the first right onto Owday Lane.Follow Owday Lane to the very end where you will eventually see a signpost for Carlton-in-Lindrick. Turn left at the end of the road, then take the first left onto Church Lane. St John’s Church can be found half way around Church Lane. The Old Rectory is to the right of the Church. Enter via the South Gate nearest the Water Mill for the reception.
